Jeb Bush, long a foe of letting others do what they want, has announced an inquiry into the death, fifteen years ago of Terry Ann Shiavo. This must be motivated by a desire to punish the husband for taking his wife off life support. Why is the Governor of the State of Florida taking such an interest in this case? Certainly it is politically motivated or perhaps more evilly it is motivated by a real belief he is right (about what he is not sure), and the others are wrong. And, in case anyone thought bigotry was relegated to the South, the Governor of the great and liberal state of Massachusetts appears to be launching a cynical attempt to stop the gay marriages in Massachusetts, the only state in which it is legal.
